Step-by-Step Setup

Start using your dedicated IPv4 VPN service

Follow these six sequential steps to choose your protocol, create your account, configure your device, and verify your dedicated public IPv4 route.

Step 1

Protocol Selection

Each VPN instance uses either WireGuard or Hysteria2. Choose WireGuard when you want official app support and QR codes. Choose Hysteria2 when you want an HY2 URI/YAML profile for compatible clients.

Step 2

Create & Verify Account

Create one unified PhotonMark Cloud Account, then check your inbox for a verification email. Click the link in the email to activate your account. You must verify your email before logging in.

Step 3

Start a Trial or Buy a Plan

Open the Client Portal. Start a 1-hour free trial (1GB data, 5 devices) to test route speeds, or buy a term plan. Paid plans include a dedicated, reputation-checked public IPv4 block that is completely isolated to your instance.

Step 4

Configure Client & Import Profile

Install the appropriate application for your device, then import the generated configuration profile or scan the QR code from the Client Portal.

1. Download Client

Install the official WireGuard client for your mobile device, laptop, or desktop router from our Downloads page.

2. Import Profile or QR

Navigate to your active WireGuard instance in the Client Portal, download the .conf configuration file, or scan the QR code using your mobile app.

3. Establish Tunnel

Activate the WireGuard interface. All internet traffic is now cleanly routed through your dedicated, ad-blocking public IPv4 interface.

Step 5

Verify Routing & IP

Enable the tunnel. Check your public IP address before and after connecting. If the address changes to your assigned dedicated public IPv4 and data consumption moves in the portal, your connection is active.

Step 6

Dedicated IP Renewal

If you cycle or renew your dedicated public IPv4 address from the portal, old configurations and scannable QR codes stop working immediately. Import the newly generated configuration profile before reconnecting.
